SSI Try Scuba – Discover Scuba Diving
Ready to take your first breaths underwater and discover the fascinating world beneath the surface? The SSI Try Scuba program is the perfect way to experience scuba diving for the very first time.
We conduct all Try Scuba experiences directly in the ocean at a beautiful, sheltered dive site filled with colorful fish and healthy coral reefs. After a short briefing covering the basics of diving and your equipment, you’ll practice a few essential skills in shallow water before heading out on your very first underwater adventure.
To ensure you feel comfortable and safe at all times, we maintain a 1:1 student-to-instructor ratio. Enjoy your first unforgettable breaths underwater and discover the magic of scuba diving.

SSI Open Water Diver – Your First Certification
Ready to become an Open Water Diver? Your adventure starts here! The SSI Open Water Diver course provides you with the knowledge, skills and confidence to dive safely and explore the underwater world on your own.
Remember the saying, “Practice makes perfect”? That’s exactly what we believe in. Instead of the required four open water dives, we include five training dives to give you even more experience and confidence underwater. Our goal is to train safe, responsible divers – while making every step of the journey fun and unforgettable.
Our Open Water Diver course takes 3 days:
Day 1: Theory and pool training
Day 2: Three open water dives at different dive sites around Padang Bai
Day 3: Two open water dives at different dive sites around Padang Bai
Upon successful completion, you’ll earn your internationally recognized SSI Open Water Diver certification, allowing you to dive independently with a buddy anywhere in the world.

SSI Advanced Adventurer – Take Your Diving to the Next Level
The SSI Advanced Adventurer course is the perfect next step after your Open Water certification. Discover new underwater adventures while expanding your skills, confidence and experience through a selection of exciting specialty dives.
Dive deeper, learn how to navigate underwater, improve your buoyancy and experience different diving environments. After completing the course, you’ll be certified to dive to a maximum depth of 30 metres.
Course duration: 2 days – 5 dives

SSI Rescue Diver – Ready for the Challenge?
Scuba diving is a very safe sport when you dive within your limits. However, emergencies can happen, and knowing how to help yourself or another diver is an essential skill.
The SSI Rescue Diver course teaches you how to recognize potential problems before they become emergencies and how to respond calmly and effectively when they do.
Course duration: 3 days
Day 1: Theory and pool training
Days 2 & 3: Rescue scenarios and in-water training with 2–3 dives per day
Our focus is on prevention rather than reaction. You’ll learn to identify potential problems early, work effectively as part of a dive team, and prevent emergencies before they happen whenever possible.
The course combines advanced knowledge of dive physiology, equipment and rescue techniques with realistic, hands-on training—and yes, it’s a lot of fun too!
