SSI - Try Scuba
Your first breath under water
Do you want to take your first breaths underwater and are curious about the world in the ocean? The SSI Try Scuba programme is the best way to try scuba diving.
We carry out the introductory diving directly in the sea in a beautiful, protected location with lots of fish and corals. After a short theoretical introduction to the most important rules of diving and equipment, we practise some short skills in the shallow water area before we take you on an underwater tour. We maintain a 1:1 student to instructor ratio so that you always feel well looked after and well on your way to becoming a proper diver. Enjoy your first unforgettable breaths underwater and experience the magic of diving.
Price SSI TRY SCUBA course 2.100.000 IDR
(includes a briefing, a short introduction to diving equipment, 2 open water dives 1 on 1 with an experienced instructor, all rental equipment, snacks and drinks on board, towel, a hot lunch and the SSI Try Scuba recognition card).
SSI - Open Water Diver The Beginner Course
Ready for your Open Water Diver training? Then let’s go! The SSI Open Water Diver course prepares you for your first underwater adventure and equips you with the knowledge and skills to dive safely and competently.
Remember the saying “practice makes perfect”? This is exactly what we put into practice with 6 open water dives during the course instead of the mandatory 4. Our aim is to train you to become safe, responsible divers with lots of fun and adventure.
Our Open Water course lasts 3 days:
1st day: theory and pool training
2nd day: 3 open water dives at different dive sites off Padang Bai
3rd day: 3 open water dives at different dive sites off Padang Bai
After completing the course you will have an international SSI diving certification and can look forward to many more great underwater experiences worldwide.

SSI - Advanced Adventurer
Deepen your knowledge
With the SSI – Advanced Adventurer course you will broaden your diving horizon! Now you have the opportunity to ‘dive in’ to some of the different specialities. We will work with you to improve and expand your skills and knowledge.
You will discover new depths, learn to deal with currents and of course improve your buoyancy control! After the course you will be certified to dive to a depth of 30 metres.
Course duration: 2 days – 6 dives
Compulsory dives: deep diving, navigation
Optional dives: drift diving, perfect buoyancy control, wreck diving on the USAT Liberty, night diving, fish identification, boat diving, and much more.
We will be happy to advise you on how best to combine the dives.

SSI - Rescue Diver
Now it gets exciting
Diving is not a dangerous sport as long as you stick to your limits. Nevertheless, emergency situations can occur and it is important to be able to help yourself or others.
In the Rescue Diver course you will learn about the most common diving accidents and what to do in an emergency.
Course duration 3 days
Day 1: Theory and pool lessons
2nd/3rd day: underwater and above-water exercises with 3 dives per day
We focus on preventing the emergency situation and not just solving it! We focus on diving and rescue as a team and work on avoiding emergency situations as far as possible by recognising and acting in good time.
This course provides advanced knowledge in diving physiology, equipment, rescue techniques AND is a lot of fun!
